OverviewTo Lead Operations and Maintenance (Mech. And E&I) of plant utilities (Generators, compressors, boilers, water wells, pumping stations, Heaters, HVAC etc.) and Cost of Utilities and uptime/downtime of utilities.

Apart from Utilities this role requires to lead Rest of Factory (Facilities) maintenance as well.

• Steam Boiler (Bosch)
• Air Compressors & Refrigerant Dryers (Atlas Copco)
• Electricity Diesel Generators (Cummins)
• Bumpless Synchronization System (Deep Sea)
• Burners (Weishaupt)
• N2 Plant Compressors, Desiccant Dryers & Generators (Gardner Denver)
• Electrical & Absorption Chillers (Trane, LG)
• Process Water Deep Well Turbines, RO Treatment & Process Pumping
• Steam & Electrical Dehumidifiers
• Air Handling Units
• LPG Vaporizers
• Waste Water Treatment Plant
• Fire Fighting Water Pumps & Sprinkler System
• Apart from Utilities, he will be responsible for maintaining plant facilities including;
• ACs
• Plumbing works at entire plant excluding packaging & process hall
• FLTs, HPT and Reach Truck in Raw Material & Finished Goods Warehouses
• Water Coolers
• Waste Water Treatment Plant
• Rain Water Pumps
• Water Taps/Sinks
• Kitchen stoves, Roti Maker
• Storm/Septic Water Tanks
• Admin & Engineering Roofs
• Identify improvement projects in utilities and lead implementation from CAR approval to project closure.
• Vetting and appointing of direct reports consulting with statutory bodies, local authorities etc. to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
• Plan and control R&M budget pertaining to utilities.
• Compilation of feasibility studies, capital expenditure proposals and financial justifications of projects in conjunction with site requirements.
• Co-ordination of in-house project teams comprising all stakeholders as applicable.
• Design, research and technical development of equipment in conjunction with suppliers, R&D and Central Engineering/MOS.
• Manage team and contractors to ensure compliance with EHS, Safety, Food Safety, AIB and government regulations.
• Ensure regular optimization of ROL pertaining to utilities.
• Ensure all manuals and drawings are updated.
• Liaise with outside government agencies SNGPL (Natural Gas supply company), WAPDA (National Power Grid), Industrial Estate management, Explosive Department, Boiler Inspectorate for smooth, unhindered plant operation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Develop training needs assessment of the staff members, facilitating on job training & multi-skilling to make the best use of their potential
• Ensure maximum uptime of all utilities
• Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager.
• Support business to deliver Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) pertaining to Energy, Water and Cost of Utilities KPIs
• In addition to these accountabilities, any task/assignment/project assigned by Line Manager will become part of JD.
• Ensure compliance of HSE rules and procedure as per PepsiCo safety policy

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of engineering experience; exposure to Utilities & Facilities Maintenance (Mech. And E&I)
• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Chemical/ Engineering.
• 2 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Must have excellent Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Utilities Cost, Water & Energy KPIs.
• Good decision making & communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills – Ability to handle multiple work streams.
• Tech savvy - Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, word), SAP, SAP WM, Power BI.
• Significant exposure to collect/collate data, generate insights and expressing data/solutions in the form of presentation.
• Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance to ensure cost effective maintenance.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships and influence stakeholders to deliver targets.
• Working knowledge of EHS and Food Safety protocols and best practices.
• Tech savvy - Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, word), SAP, SAP WM, Power BI.
